Leodis Consulting, a specialist OD and Coaching micro-company based in West Yorkshire, has become exclusive sponsor for the OD Academy for 2024-25.
The sponsorship agreement, which includes being main sponsor for our members’ seminar and masterclass programme and annual conference awards, is a significant step in enabling the OD Academy and Leodis Consulting to publicly celebrate their joint commitment to raising the art, science and practice of OD in the UK.

“I originally met Steve Benfield some 15 years ago when he was commissioned to work with the NHS Trust I was working for, and we’ve kept in touch since then.
“In 2021, I contacted Steve to discuss next steps in my career. I was close to retirement age, but far from ready to retire and I wanted a new challenge. I thought I knew about OD and coaching because of course it featured in NHS parlance. Our conversation led me to the realisation that I didn’t really understand OD and coaching and so it was agreed that we would work together, and I would initially complete the Certificate OD Practitioner programme.
“Working with Steve was fun, and I began to understand how my professional background and OD were a good fit. So, after successfully completing the Certificate in OD Practice and receiving an award from the OD academy, I decided I wanted to do more. I completed the Diploma in OD Practitioner Programme with the expert support of Steve, working on a real consultancy assignment in a sector I’d never worked before in.
“During that time, I increased my passion for OD and my understanding of how powerful and impactful for organisations it can be if used properly and effectively. At the end of the Diploma, I received another award for my work, as OD Development Practitioner of the Year 2023/4.
“Steve and I worked together throughout that time, and it has become apparent that working in partnership with Steve and the OD Academy creates an effective working relationship, which has now been formalised through the sponsorship partnership. It is said that the ideal partnerships are where two or more groups or individuals come together to achieve a common purpose. It has definitely proven to be the case for our partnership.
